Jayanta Sarkar John is a Bangladeshi visual artist and educator, known for his expertise in drawing and painting. He holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Development Alternative (UODA) and has been actively involved in the Bangladeshi art scene for over two decades. His work has been featured in numerous national and international exhibitions, earning him prestigious awards, including the Grand Award at the 9th KAHAL Art Fair, as well as recognition from institutions such as the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and Tokyo’s Art Complex.
In addition to his artistic practice, Jayanta serves as an art teacher at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and has made significant contributions to the fields of fashion and visual design. His dedication to cultural exchange and community engagement is reflected in his participation in global exhibitions and social art initiatives.
